Operation Medina

‘Operation Medina’ is a ‘What if?’ novel.  It explores the idea that the Isle of Wight might have been occupied by the enemy during WW2. What would life have been like on the island?  Seen through the eyes of some of the islanders the story unfolds.  There is a farmer who sets up a resistance group, a retired teacher who shelters a British spy who comes over from the mainland, there is an aristocratic lady who has her home requisitioned by the island Commandant and there is a romance between an island girl and a German officer. There is humour, tragedy and above all great courage as the island comes to terms with its fate.
