The Garden of England

The county of Kent is known as the ‘Garden of England’ because it is a centre of fruit growing. Here is a picture of a Kent apple growing orchard

Hops, used in the brewing of beer, are also a feature of Kent life. This picture shows hops waiting to be harvested.

Once harvested hops go to an oast house like the one in the next picture

    1. No, the hops are grown on a farm then sent to an oast house to be roasted. After that they go to the brewery to be made into beer. Kent is beautiful and I will be putting some more pictures of it on my Blog.
