A Christmas Carol

Christmas    is    coming                                                                                                                     My purse is getting thin

Ding   dong   merrily  on    high                                                                                                        So many presents I have to buy

The   first  Noel   the  Angels  did  say                                                                                              Dig in your purse and pay, pay, pay

Good King Wenceslas looked out                                                                                                         Saw my cash flying about

While shepherds watched their flocks by night                                                                               My purse was getting very light

Once in royal David’s city                                                                                                                   Purse now empty – what a pity!
